United Alloy understands the importance of its customers having confidence in the quality products it designs and manufactures. Critical in achieving this is validating designs and testing key performance indicators before any product ever leaves its facility.
Validating critical designs developed by a team of industry experts can be provided prior to manufacture using cutting edge Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as well as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools. Vital product testing occurs during various stages of production and prior to release for shipment. These tests are performed on-line as well as in United Alloy’s Validation Test Laboratory. Examples of tests routinely performed at United Alloy are tank pressure and vacuum decay tests as well has hydro tests to validate leak tightness, particulate size and mass tests to ensure tank cleanliness, dye penetrant and mag particle testing for leak tightness and weld quality. These processes help to insure that UAI customers receive the best designed and performing products in the industry that deliver the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
We assure our customers with:
- Design evaluation and validation services (Computer Aided Design 3D (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Simulations)
- Design system files accepted: AutoCAD, Inventory, SolidWorks, Pro-E, STEP, IGES, DXF, PDF, JPEG and many others.
- 100% product testing in accordance to applicable 3rd party and customer requirements.
- Laboratory cleanliness testing as per ISO4406 for hydraulic, coolant and DEF tanks.
